ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION

ELIGIBILITY TO OFFER SOME ELECTIVE SUBJECTS (AS PER W.B.C.H.S.E COUNCIL RULES)

In order to be eligible to take the following elective subjects at the H.S. Level, a student must obtain the minimum percentage of marks in the corresponding subjects at the qualifying examination as noted below:

H.S SUBJECT Minimum Marks to be obtained in Secondary Exam
MATH, CO MS 35% and above in Mathematics
BIOS 35% and above in Life Science, Mathematics & Physical Science
PHYS, CHEM 35% and above in Physical Science, Mathematics, Life Science
GEO 35% and above in Geography, Mathematics

Medium

The Institution has provision for instruction in Bengali & English also.

Syllabus

The Institution follows the West Bengal Council of H.S. Education syllabus with a wider coverage for the competitive examinations .

2nd SEMESTER: In the Month of November 2016 (Total Marks 50)

Pre Final: In the Month of January 2017

Final Exam : In the Month of February or March 2017 (Total Marks 100)

Lab Based – Written 70   Marks + 30 Marks in Practical

Non Lab Based – Written 80 Marks + 20 Marks in Project

For Class XII

1st SEMESTER :  In the Month of August 2016 ( Total Marks 50 )

Test : In the Month of November 2016 (Total Marks 100)

Lab Based – Written 70 Marks + 30 Marks in Practical

Non Lab Based – Written 80 Marks + 20 Marks in Project

 

Pre Final : In the Month of January 2017 (Total Marks 100)

Result of H.S. Test Exam. will be held on month of Nov. or Dec.2016

Form Fill up Month of December (Based on the Result of the Test Examination).

ACACDEMIC PERFORMANCE & STANDRAD :

The Institution has its own system of examination comprising of two Terminal examinations and Examination. The academic environment being competitive, all these graded examinations will help the students far ail-out preparation for H.S., JEE, and other All India competitive examinations.

TEACHER AND SUPPORTING STAFF :

The Institution has the most competent of teachers in all the subjects taught, together with efficient supporting staff, who make a unique learning environment an Institution can aspire to provide.

FACILITIES :

LABORATORY : The Institution has sufficiently equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Geography & Nitrition.

LIBRARY READING HALL : The Reading Hall is adequately furnished to sit 20 students ma time for reading. The library has more than 5000 books on all the subject taught. Both text and reference books can be lent by the students on requirement.

STUDENTS ACTIVITIES :

  • GAMES & SPORTS :

The Institution holds Winter Athletic Competition every year on the occasion of Annual Sports Day. Competitions organized in Extempore, Quiz, Essay writing, which are quite popular among students. The Annual Day is usually observed on the 18th 1011 (Foundation Day) in every year.

STUDENTS CONCERN :

  • UNIFORM

Wearing School (which is recommended by the School Authority) uniform is mandatory for all students coming to attend school for all purpose.
B)ATTENDANCE :
Regular attendance is a necessity. Statutory attendance of 70% in theoretical classes gild be maintained. Low attendance will be a- 70% in theoretical classes should be maintained. Low attendance will be a disqualification for appearing at the examinations. All absence should be informed : To the school authority in writing. [vide Council Rule 6 (c)].
